The Isle of Skoo™ summer camp offers summer camp to children ages 4 to 8. Each child is paired with a high school-aged mentor and builds social connections through the mentor/mentee relationship.
Each day of camp is an energetic, interactive day of learning through The Isle of Skoo lessons, music and puppetry. Fun learning while being engaged and excited.
A day of camp looks like this:
- The mentor greets their mentee and spends the first part of the day engaged in a creative and educational activity of their choice.
- The Isle of Skoo puppet show begins, with Skoo and his friends teaching an interactive lesson that incorporates music, dance and instruments.
- There is a mid-show break with free play outside that includes snacks, games, crafts, yoga and making your own treats.
- After free play, everyone heads back inside where a guest from the community teaches a special activity.
- The show continues, then closes the day with a goodbye from Skoo and his friends.
Camp runs in one-week sessions, Monday through Friday in July.
